- Transport patients to and from private individual's homes, nursing facilities, and hospitals, required to load the patient in and out of the vehicle.
- Follows instructions from dispatcher/call-taker and safely drives ambulette to specific locations.
- Conducts daily vehicles and maintenance inspections prior to beginning the route, ensuring vehicles and equipment are clean at all times.
- Performs efficient route management and correspondence with dispatch teams, maintaining patient privacy.
- Responsible for keeping logs of trips for record-keeping and billing purposes.
Education/License/Certifications/Other Requirements
- Minimum requirement: High school diploma or general education degree (GED), Basic Life Support (BLS), Current Driver's License, and completes annual emergency vehicle operators course.
