Our client, an A-rated Insurance Carrier, is seeking to add a Director of Risk Management, Workers' Compensation. This person will be responsible for leading and directing the Risk Management team in driving the success / profitability of the organization. Your expertise will be crucial in supporting underwriting and business development efforts while ensuring compliance and improving safety standards. Conduct audits and risk assessments of workers' compensation risk management programs for both new and existing clients. Ideal candidates will reside in New York or New Jersey.
Responsibilities :
- Lead and manage the overall workers' compensation risk management strategy for the region, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and client needs.
- Direct the conduct of comprehensive risk assessments and audits of workers' compensation programs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Analyze and interpret claims data to identify trends, root causes, and areas for potential risk. Develop and implement strategic initiatives to reduce the frequency and severity of claims.
