Our client, an 'A' rated leading Insurance Carrier, is seeking to add a Homeowners Property Field Claims Supervisor to lead their team of Property Claims Adjusters. This person will oversee the handling of property claims resulting from homeowner policy coverages, ensuring efficient processing, accurate assessments, and excellent customer service throughout the Massachusetts area. This person will have the ability to work remotely with occasional field visits required.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage and lead a team of field claims adjusters, providing training and development to ensure they are equipped to handle a variety of claims scenarios.

Oversee the investigation, evaluation, negotiation, and resolution of assigned property claims, ensuring compliance with company standards and policy provisions.

Conduct regular reviews of claims files and adjuster reports to ensure accuracy and consistency. Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards of claims handling.

Act as a point of escalation for high-value or complex homeowner claims. Provide expert advice and maintain positive interactions with policyholders, agents, and underwriters.

Monitor key performance indicators for the claims handling process, including cycle times, customer satisfaction levels, and adjuster productivity.

Prepare and present regular reports on team performance, claims trends, and potential areas for process improvement.
Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in property claims adjustment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.

Active adjuster license is preferred.

Strong knowledge of property insurance policies and the ability to interpret complex documents.

Well versed in Xactimate

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Proven ability to manage and resolve complex claims issues.

Proficient in claims management software and Microsoft Office suite.

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Insurance, or a related field.
