Our client, an A-rated Insurance Carrier, is seeking to add a Senior HR Generalist to support and enhance the organization’s human resources functions. The Senior HR Generalist will be responsible for implementing HR policies, managing day-to-day HR activities, and providing HR support across various departments. This individual will play a key role in ensuring the company attracts, develops, and retains top talent while maintaining a positive and inclusive work environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in HR management, preferably within the insurance industry, and possess a deep understanding of employment law and compliance requirements. This is a Hybrid position out of any of their regional offices.
- Implement HR policies and procedures that align with the company's objectives.
- Provide HR support across departments, including Underwriting, Claims, Operations, IT, and Sales/Marketing.
- Support recruitment efforts by sourcing, screening, and selecting candidates for various roles within the company.
- Develop and implement onboarding processes to ensure smooth integration of new employees.

Manage workers' compensation claims, ensuring timely and accurate reporting and resolution.

Oversee leave administration, including FMLA and disability leave.

Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, investigations, and disciplinary actions, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies.
- Support talent management programs to foster employee development and career progression.
- Administer and manage compensation and benefits programs, ensuring market competitiveness.
- Educate employees on their compensation, benefits, and available resources.
- Support performance management processes, including goal setting, feedback, and performance reviews.
- Promote a positive and inclusive company culture, fostering teamwork and collaboration.
- Assist in compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Participate in initiatives related to employee engagement, retention, and organizational development.
Requirements:
- 5 - 15 years of experience in Human Resources, with a focus on generalist functions.

Current or previous experience within the insurance industry is highly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional certification such as SHRM-CP or PHR is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, compliance, and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in HRIS platforms and other HR technology solutions.

Salary/Benefits:
- $100,000 to $160,000 annual base salary, depending on experience.
