AVP Commercial Property Underwriting Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced AVP Commercial Property Underwriter to join our team.
About the Role
This individual will be responsible for underwriting and pricing new and renewal shared and layered Commercial Property business within the Excess & Surplus (E&S) market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess individual risk acceptability, pricing, coverage, terms, and conditions for complex shared and layered commercial property policies.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of the E&S market and its nuances.
- Collaborate with wholesale brokers to identify new business opportunities.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 5-10 years of experience in Commercial Property underwriting, preferably in the E&S market.
- A strong understanding of underwriting shared/layered accounts.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate complex risks.
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building producer relationships.
- A Bachelor's degree is highly preferred.
