Insurance Loss Adjuster and Claims Examiner

Responsibilities

• Handle moderate to complex lost time and medical only claims for New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
• Conduct thorough investigations, manage medical treatment, influence early full return-to-work, guide litigation, and control claim outcomes.
• Negotiate settlements with injured workers and attorneys.
• Manage active files, apply effective reserving practices, participate in training activities, present serious claims to committee, and supervise litigated files.
• Maintain a high level of customer service and adhere to department Best Practices.
