Position Overview:
As the Marketing & Media Specialist, you will be the sole media member responsible for crafting the marketing strategy, photographing products, developing creative content, and driving sales for multiple cannabis businesses. This role combines content creation, digital marketing, sales, and logistics coordination, offering a dynamic and entrepreneurial opportunity to shape the success of several brands within the cannabis industry.

You will be the key player in ensuring smooth operations from marketing to product delivery, all while generating sales and promoting our brands effectively across digital and physical channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Photography & Content Creation:
  • Capture high-quality product photography, lifestyle images, and video content to enhance branding and marketing efforts.
  • Design and create visually appealing content for digital channels, including websites, social media, email marketing, and ads.
  • Edit and optimize photos and videos for use across various platforms, ensuring consistency with brand identity.
  • Marketing Strategy & Execution:
  • Develop and implement targeted marketing campaigns for multiple cannabis businesses to increase brand awareness and drive sales.
  • Create compelling written and visual content that tells the story of each business, connects with the audience, and reflects the unique value propositions.
  • Coordinate digital advertising, social media promotions, and influencer partnerships to expand reach and engagement.
  • Sales & Business Development:
  • Generate leads and drive direct sales through personalized outreach, email campaigns, and targeted promotions.
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers, clients, and partners to grow brand loyalty and repeat business.
  • Manage sales funnels and track progress towards business goals, providing regular updates on performance.
  • Logistics Coordination:
  • Oversee and coordinate the logistics for order fulfillment, ensuring that products are delivered in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Work with distribution partners to ensure stock levels are maintained, shipments are processed, and any issues are resolved promptly.
  • Handle any inventory management, delivery scheduling, and fulfillment coordination to ensure smooth product delivery to clients or retail partners.
  • Website & E-commerce Management:
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of websites and e-commerce platforms for the cannabis businesses.
  • Ensure seamless user experience and optimized product listings for increased conversions.
  • Implement SEO strategies to improve search engine rankings and drive organic traffic.
  • Brand Management & Market Analysis:
  • Maintain a consistent brand voice and messaging across all media channels and marketing touchpoints.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market competition, and customer preferences to adapt marketing strategies accordingly.
  • Track and analyze campaign performance, making data-driven decisions to optimize future efforts.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in media creation (photography/videography) and marketing, ideally in the cannabis or related industries.
  • Strong sales experience with the ability to close deals and generate revenue from leads.
  • Experience in coordinating logistics, order fulfillment, or supply chain management.
  • Proficient with photography and editing software (Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, etc.).
  • Ability to independently manage multiple businesses and juggle various marketing, sales, and logistics efforts.
  • In-depth knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing techniques.
  • Strong understanding of cannabis regulations and marketing guidelines (preferred).
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Self-starter with a creative mindset and a passion for the cannabis industry.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A portfolio showcasing photography, videography, and marketing projects.
  • Previous experience with e-commerce platforms, including Shopify or similar.
  • Understanding of SEO, Google Analytics, and digital ad campaigns.
  • Prior experience working with multiple brands or businesses simultaneously.
