We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our food service operations, whether in a restaurant, hotel, or catering setting.

Duties

• Clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils using commercial dishwashing equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste.
• Assist with food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen staff during busy periods.
• Ensure that all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use.
• Help maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Support banquet and catering events by ensuring timely cleaning of service items.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a food service or kitchen environment is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of proper food handling techniques and sanitation practices is a plus.
• Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items as needed.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business needs.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
