Description
- Responsible for assisting in planning, directing, and coordinating all operations and personnel management. Ultimately responsible for managing the restaurant.
- Monitor all restaurant operations and conditions to ensure the quality of the product and guest services.
- Monitor job performance; food and labor costs, budgets, and sales; labor payroll sheets.
- Complete knowledge of all expectations of the Manager position.
- Effective coaching / counseling.
- Manages HR issues.
- Trains and mentors FOH employees.
- Orientation of all new staff.
- Understand General Ledger.
- Knowledge of accounts / approved vendors.
- Bar management.
- Liquor inventory.
- Maintain budgeted food and beverage cost.
- Involved in increasing bar sales.
- Produce cost effective specials.
- Liquor ordering.
- Handle cash transactions, comps, or voids, and amounts of cash.
- Enter all invoices.
- Create FOH schedules using 7Shifts.
- Keep marketing material current.
- Menu spec compliance.
- Knowledge of Health Inspections.
- Display good judgement.
- Maintain a positive attitude and professional approach to coworkers and customers.
