We are a recruiting a highly motivated and detail-oriented Asset Management professional to lead the fiscal performance, operational oversight, and contractual and regulatory compliance of our clients operating renewable energy and battery storage assets. This is a cross-functional role with a strong commercial focus and responsibility for internal and external reporting, stakeholder management, and supporting growth in both process and portfolio.
You’ll work closely with teams across the business to ensure projects perform in line with expectations and obligations. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to deepen their exposure to utility-scale renewable operations, commercial contracts, and infrastructure finance.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Ownership: Oversee the financial health, operational performance, and compliance posture of assigned operating projects.
- Contract & Regulatory Compliance: Monitor and enforce obligations under PPAs, interconnection agreements, O&M contracts, and regulatory permits.
- Commercial Leadership: Act as a primary point of contact for project counterparties, including utilities, landowners, service providers, and financing partners.
- Performance & Financial Reporting: Lead monthly and quarterly reporting processes; analyze key performance indicators and track budget-to-actuals.
- Market & Risk Analysis: Assess market conditions, energy pricing, and contractual provisions to identify optimization opportunities or commercial risks.
- Process Improvement: Help design and implement scalable asset management systems, tools, and workflows as the portfolio grows.
- Financing Support: Interface with lenders and tax equity partners on compliance and reporting obligations; assist with financial model updates and performance assumptions.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams across the project lifecycle to ensure alignment on asset performance and commercial goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Energy, or related field; advanced degree or certifications a plus.
- 2–4 years of experience in asset management, project finance, energy operations, or commercial contract management (renewables preferred).
- Strong understanding of key energy contracts (PPAs, O&M, interconnection, financing) and how they affect project performance.
- Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with financial models, reporting tools (e.g., Power BI), and asset monitoring platforms.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and written communication skills.
- A proactive, team-oriented mindset and a desire to grow with a mission-driven company.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders with attention to detail.
Salary : $80,000 - $120,000
