What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Track Coach position at King William County Schools?
Job Summary
This position is responsible for assisting with all phases of the track program at King William High School. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to : coaching and student-athlete skill development, with emphasis on technique and strength / endurance development. This position is part-time. However, if an instructional vacancy for which a candidate qualifies is available, he or she will be considered to fill the vacancy.
Qualifications
- A thorough knowledge of applicable VHSL rules and regulations is required.
- Previous experience coaching outdoor track is preferred.
- Ability to lead and motivate student-athletes is required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
- Bachelor's degree and valid Virginia teaching license preferred.
