What are the responsibilities and job description for the Infant/Toddler Teacher position at Kingdom of Care Childcare and Preschool Center?
Leading the development of your classroom using the required age appropiate curriculum. Creating and implementing weekly lesson plans. Contributing to the leadership and management in your classroom. Supporting, guiding, and reviewing other members of staff in your classroom. Maintaining a clean and safe environment. Working with other classrooms to contribute towards the general improvement of the center. Provide positive learning and guidance techniques to students. Communicate and interact with parents on students’ academic progress. Adhere to and comply with all the center rules and guidelines as well as the Sate of Michigan rules and regulations.
Education Requirements:
Must have a Early Childhood Development Associate Certificate(CDA) OR Associate's/Bachelor's degree in Early childhood education.
Training/ courses to be completed upon hiring:
- Must do Criminal background check/ fingerprinting
- Must have a TB Test done
- Must complete CPR/First Aid/AED Training
- Complete miregistry health and safety training online
- Bloodborne Pathogen certification
- Infant Safe sleep training & Shaken baby syndrome online
