Job Summary:
The Entry-Level Pipe Inspector is responsible for inspecting and evaluating steel pipes for defects, ensuring quality standards are met, and assisting in maintaining an organized and efficient inspection process. No prior experience is required—training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of steel pipes to check for defects, damage, or irregularities.
- Use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify pipe specifications.
- Document inspection results and report any quality issues to supervisors.
- Assist in tagging, sorting, and organizing inspected materials.
- Follow company safety protocols and procedures at all times.
- Work collaboratively with team members to maintain a smooth inspection process.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Basic math and measurement skills.
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials (up to 50 lbs).
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.
- Prior experience in manufacturing, construction, or steel industries is a plus but not required.
