Description Of Duties
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in a commercial construction project management position
Construction-related bachelor's degree or equivalent field experience
Ability to lead a team of direct reports
Proficient with project management, construction CRM, and estimating software
Understanding of the construction process including quoting, estimating, scheduling installation and safety required
Understanding construction financials including budgeting, progress billing, AIA invoicing, budget vs actual comparison
Ability to read commercial and multifamily drawings
Exceptional work ethic and a desire to complete tasks on schedule with excellence
Not afraid of heights, willing to climb ladders 30 feet
1-3 years of experience using Microsoft Business Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Ability to have a flexible schedule during peak season
Must be a problem solver who takes a proactive approach to improving services
High energy and drive
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal teams, external vendors, and subcontractors
Strong ability to triage and prioritize
Ability to communicate in Spanish is a plus
Compensation & Benefits
$80,000 - $90,000 based on experience and proven track record with benefits including:

Description Of Duties

- Builds strong relationships with Kingdom's Site Superintendents, Project Managers, Estimators & Salesmen including training them on products and services to better facilitate the delivery of our turnkey service.
- Actively participates in pre-bid and commercial handoff meetings providing feedback on design details, cost estimates for labor and equipment.
- Responsible for complete understanding of all project details as set forth in prints, and pertinent ASI's. Properly communicates these details to the installation team.
- Responsible for sourcing and securing equipment needs such as scaffolding and lifts as needed for completion of the project.
- Coordinates with manufacturing for the purposes of production and delivery scheduling, product quality issues, new product ideas, and purchasing of installation materials.
- Creates and maintains an efficient installation schedule for assigned projects that best satisfies all customer installation demands.
- Manage relationships with installation crews and ensure Kingdom maintains the proper amount of subcontractors at our disposal at all times.
- Supervises installation crews and follows company installation fundamentals (safety, quality, scheduling, communication, and housekeeping). Frequently assess and train installers and subcontractors on a variety of safety and quality initiatives.
- Implements tight procedures and accountability regarding day-to-day operating processes such as job-site inspections, communication follow-up with customers, pay policies for installation crews, absolute safety standards including those as set forth by the GC, back-charges, and fines for installation crews. Assists in developing and implementing companywide installation procedures and best practices.
- Provides oversight of field measurements and verifies installation of products in accordance with work-order specifications.
- Addresses customer concerns in a professional and courteous manner that protects the interests of the company and best satisfies the customer.
- Utilizes company systems to document site issues and conversations with Site Superintendents and Project Managers and provides written documentation.
- Actively manages projects to meet or exceed the anticipated margin set forth in the bid.
- Leads and participates in weekly construction site safety and schedule/progress meetings.
- Stay current with applicable local, state, federal safety, and OSHA programs
- Travel will be required - primarily within Indiana with few overnight stays
- Prepare cash flow projections and ensure accurate job forecasting
- Review invoices from vendors and subcontractors for accuracy to help manage job profitability
- Plan and coordinate all aspects of the construction process, including assisting the sales dept with bidding (as needed), interviewing & hiring subcontractors, and working with owners, architects, and vendors.
- Solicit and obtain bids, identifying qualified subcontractors as requested by sales staff
- Draft subcontractor agreement and purchase orders
- Other responsibilities as required.
