Position Purpose
All KHI employees are expected to perform their respective tasks and duties in such a way that supports KHI’s vision of providing the region’s best clinical care and patient service through an environment that fosters respect for others and pride in performance. At the direction of management, completes the registration process for patients. This includes verification of benefits, discharge of patients, collection of copays or payments, balancing of accounts, and general data entry.

Qualifications
Education: High School Graduate or Equivalent
Certification: BLS through the American Heart Association
Skills and Knowledge: Knowledge, skills, and proficiency in Cardiovascular Diagnostics and ability to support all areas of Respiratory Care. Ability to ensure standards met are reflective department/organizational policies (including, but not limited to specialty areas and age specific populations), and in accordance to the standards set forth by governing bodies of Respiratory Care.
Preferences
Education: College Degree or advanced education background preferred
Certification: Certified Cardiovascular Technician (CCT) desired; ACLS/PALS desired
Experience: One (1) year experience direct experience with cardiovascular diagnostics. Experience in adult/pediatric care in an acute care setting desired.
