Key Responsibilities
- Review & distribute incoming mail
- Scan documents to KRMC Electronic Health Record (EHR) system
- Mail correspondence to payers
- Review EHR systems, and collect data for reports, as needed
- Call insurance companies to obtain data to or resolve open claims
- Update reports currently being utilized by Revenue Integrity team for monthly report out
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent or college level degree
- Experience: One (1) year experience in an office setting
Skills and Knowledge:
- General knowledge of office processes
- Intermediate to strong Microsoft excel experience
- Intermediate knowledge of other Microsoft office tools
- Ability to organize & prioritize daily work based on timelines
- Able to communicate effectively with patients, team members & insurance companies
Preferences
- Experience : Medical field experience
