Position Purpose: As a Pharmacy Technician, will be responsible for assisting and supporting registered pharmacists in dispensing prescription medications and providing exceptional customer service to patients in our outpatient pharmacy setting. You will work closely with healthcare professionals, patients, and other team members to ensure the accurate and timely fulfillment of medication orders while adhering to legal and regulatory guidelines.
Hours/Shift: Full Time/Days M-F 8:00am – 4:30pm

Key Responsibilities: Pharmacy technicians assist pharmacists in providing health care, preparing and distributing medications to patients, maintaining the drug inventory, and maintaining patient records. Communicates with third-party providers for eligibility and prior authorizations. Assists with purchasing activities and maintenance of adequate inventory level, reviews for proper storage, outdated inventory, and medication administration records. Operate point of sale system, answers calls, and requests at the counter or window, and perform other pharmacy related duties within the scope of certification/license.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Over one year as Certified Pharmacy Technician experience
- Certification/Licensure: Arizona Pharmacy Technician License
Work Requirements: Must be able to distinguish color, sit 37%, stand 30%, and walk 33% of the time; carry or lift weight in the range of 25-75 pounds; expected duties have possible, but not routine, potential for exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissue and to chemicals, biological, and radioactive substances.
