Job Requirements
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Bus Driver. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe transportation of students to and from school, as well as on field trips.
Responsibilities:
- Driving a school bus over designated routes in conformity with an established time schedule.
- Escorting children across streets and stopping traffic as necessary.
- Transporting children and teachers on field trips to various locations.
- Maintaining order among children on the bus.
- Cleaning, sweeping, and washing the bus during non-driving time.
- Loading, unloading, and driving the vehicle in delivering supplies and equipment.
- Providing general maintenance and custodial work about school buildings and grounds.
Requirements:
- A valid California Driver's License Class A or B-P.
- A valid California Special Driver's Certificate for School Bus.
- A valid DL-51 Medical Examination.
- One year experience in the operation of a motor vehicle.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
