- Schedule incoming freight appointments.
- Check-in inbound freight.
- Receives inbound freight.
- Helps maintain a variety of files and records as directed for the Shipping Department
- Support and assist the Shipping Manager and other department employees when needed.
- Data entry duties as required.
- Perform a variety of basic clerical tasks for the Shipping and Receiving Department.
- Makes labels for incoming freight and raw materials.
- Makes pallet tags.
- Works in Lean Logistics program.

Requirements:Basic Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Must be able to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Previous receptionist or office experience.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of basic office equipment.
- Microsoft Office experience is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior shipping and receiving experience in a USDA-inspected beef, pork, or poultry facility.
- Basic computer knowledge in shipping and receiving with data entry experience in accounting software and spreadsheets
- Minimum of 2 years related shipping experience in a manufacturing environment and/or training
