What are the responsibilities and job description for the Distribution Clerk - RFT - Materials Management position at KINGS DAUGHTERS MEDICAL CENTER?
The Distribution Clerk is responsible for assuring supplies are moved to the using department within the hospital. Receives and processes all requisitions for stock items, checks and replenishes all exchange carts, maintains records of issues, performs cycle counts of inventory in storeroom and other areas as assigned. Assists Receiving Clerk in labeling and restocking storeroom shelves. Maintains the computer inventory system in a timely and accurate manner.
Schedule: Monday - Friday
8:00am - 4:30pm
Education
- High school diploma/GED preferred
- Business education preferred.
Experience
- Previous work in receiving and purchasing desired.
Special Qualifications
- Good communication skills necessary.
- Must be self-motivated and show initiative.
- Must be courteous & humble.
Physical Demands
- Requires extended periods of walking.
- Must have good visual acuity and be able to work with a keyboard.
- Must lift small weights, use stairs, push or pull carts, bend at waist and use ladder.
