What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ultrasound Tech - OPT - Imaging Services/Ultrasound position at KINGS DAUGHTERS MEDICAL CENTER?
Responsible for the operations of diagnostic ultrasound equipment for the performance of all dynamic ultrasound procedures at a technical level not requiring supervision.
- Graduate of an approved ultrasound training program
- Must be knowledgeable of all basic ultrasound exams regarding all abdomen vessels, OB/GYN and pediatric.
- Certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonsographer or registry eligible.
- Current CPR certification required.
- ARRT certification preferred.
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
- Be able to perform manipulative skills and hand-eye coordination.
- Must be able to perform multiple tasks as ordered by physicians.

- Moderate amount of lifting and positioning of patients and equipment
- Walk and stand prolonged periods.
- Be able to concentrate.
