What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Records Coordinator position at Kings Harbor Multicare Center?
Proficient in use of Word and Excel and ability to create reports
- Familiar with Electronic Medical Records (such as Sigma program)
- Familiar with Scanning and electronic filing (such as Medforce program)
- Familiar with generating PDF for uploading or e-lifting in order to submit information to the different agencies
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology
- Thorough knowledge of Federal and State laws in regards to maintain the confidentiality and security of all Residents information and to ensure HIPAA regulations
- 5 years prior experience in medical records
