What are the responsibilities and job description for the Waterpark Attendant position at Kings Island?
At Kings Island, we are seeking highly motivated individuals to join our Aquatics Team as Waterpark Attendants. As a Waterpark Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of our guests while they enjoy our slides and attractions.
Responsibilities
- Test equipment daily before opening attractions to guests.
- Maintain order of guests waiting to ride, enforcing all ride restrictions and recommendations.
- Observe and assist with loading and unloading of guests safely in and out of attractions, including small children and guests with disabilities.
In this role, you will work closely with your team to monitor guests in assigned areas and follow safety procedures for all attractions. We are looking for individuals who interact well with others from all backgrounds and age groups, and who have a strong commitment to safety.
Qualifications
- You must be 16 years of age or older.
- Availability to include some weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays is required.
- Individuals who love helping others and will support the needs of our guests and associates are ideal candidates.
- A paid aquatic certification class is also a requirement.
