The Assistant Executive Housekeeper assists in the managing and directing of the day–to–day operations of all Housekeeping and laundry functions. Provides support to the Executive Housekeeper in all areas of Housekeeping operation, such as staff training, coaching and consistently inspects and enforces adherence to Kings Service Solutions standards of Excellence. Participates in and enforces quality assurance for Housekeeping department. Makes certain the required Wyndham standards are achieved.
1. Attend or conduct pre-shift brief meeting at 8am daily with EH.
2. Maintain clear and efficient communication and coordination with the Executive Housekeeper.
3. To attract, motivate, and retain staff. Provide leadership support and is readily accessible to staff.
4. Provides support to the Executive Housekeeper in all areas of housekeeping operations such as scheduling, staff training, coaching, counseling and also enforces the company scope of work, policy, procedures, and standard of Excellence.
5. Obtains list of vacant rooms to be cleaned immediately and listof prospective checkouts or discharges in order to prepare work assignments
6. Conduct performance and progressive discipline.
7. Train staff by following OSHA and resort/hotel guidelines for the safe handling of all housekeeping chemicals and equipment.
8. Review and monitor daily schedule to ensure enough coverage for that day.
9. Refer maintenance/equipment issues maintenance on proper device provided.
10. Respond to and follow through on guest requests, concerns and problems to the guest’s satisfaction.
11. Delegate assignments and supervise all staff, and houseman.
12. Assists in controlling expenses by the housekeeping department.
13. Monitor and perform inventories weekly/monthly. Ensure enough guest supply and linen supply.
14. If assigned assist with scheduling and payroll cost controls, such as edit daily employee time card and work on employee schedule for the week.
15. Supervise and conduct daily detailed inspection of guest rooms. Ensures compliance with the Resort/Hotel’s Standards of Excellence.

Pay: $38,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
