Business Applications Analyst (294) The Business Applications Analyst serves as the primary contact for front-end business / enterprise software application support to internal business units as part of the IT team. Coordinates back-end database maintenance and updates with the hardware / network team. Works closely with end users and vendors to support key business applications in business-critical roles. Provides and maintains documentation to improve and support consistent workflows. Provides support to business units as a key member of business / enterprise software projects. How will I contribute Act as the primary contact for front-end support of business / enterprise software Under general supervision, configure and / or implement business application upgrades in collaboration with external vendors, IT operations, business analysts, data system experts, and other team members Collaborate with IT operations on the installation of software applications Collaborate with IT operations, SQL experts, and external vendors on the maintenance and resolution of database errors Under general supervision, perform and / or develop routine manual and / or automated operational tasks as needed to support business / enterprise software applications Develop and maintain end user system documentation and training material As a team member, participate in the development of project plans, workflows, and other support documentation development Perform ad-hoc queries and data analysis utilizing such tools as Crystal Reports, Excel, Access, Tableau, ADAPT, Credible, DeFacto, GP, One Point, etc. Utilizes SQL and / or 3rd party data preparation tools to develop and maintain data extraction, transformation and load (ETL) processes Works with sensitive financial and treatment program data as part of ETL processes Acts as the primary contact for front-end support of the ADAPT software application and also serves as a vendor contact Maintain accurate and up-to-date work order documentation Participate in special projects as needed and perform other duties as assigned Assist with selection and implementation of the new accounting software. What I bring Associate Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Administration, or related. Class C Driving License CompTIA A (preferred), SQL Certifications / Coursework a plus 1 year supporting business software applications, associate's degree in health information management, computer science, information systems, or a related field; or comparable quantitative field or equivalent related work experience. Experience with, and proficient in, Microsoft Office, Experience supporting Microsoft GP Dynamics or similar software, Experience supporting DeFacto or similar data warehouse applications. Ability to work independently and cooperatively with different business unit, Strong problem-solving skills, Ability to track multiple ongoing tasks, Strong customer support, Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills. Experience with Crystal Reports, Tableau, or other Business Intelligence or reporting technologies preferred. Experience with Alteryx or similar ETL software preferred. Knowledge of relational database concepts, Knowledge of query and / or programming languages (e.g. SQL, Basic, C), Knowledge of date extraction, transformation and load (ETL) concepts.
