Job Summary
Our company is growing and looking to fill a grain operator position.
Grain Operator Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform facility operations such as loading/unloading semi-trailers and unloading rail cars,
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Perform basic equipment maintenance
- Inspect grain on a regular basis to ensure quality
- Maintain all grain bins and associated equipment
- Keep management appraised of status of grains and grain bins
- Keep accurate inventory of all grain in grain bin facility
Grain Operator Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED certificate
- At least one year of experience in grain operations (preferred)
- Possess flexibility and adaptability in order take on additional job responsibilities, as needed
- Must be able to work quickly, independently and accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Maintain regular, dependable attendance
- Ability to adhere to company policies and rules that are set forth
- Computer proficiency
- Valid driver's license
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
