WANTED: High-energy, well-organized association executive to lead growing Chamber of Commerce and Visitor Center in thriving unincorporated lakeside community.
Ideal candidate will be:
* Experienced in leading business associations or non-profits in which volunteers are a key to success. Bonus: Chamber staff, tourism-related work or extensive volunteer experience
* A record in growing organizations from a revenue and value perspective
* A skilled talent manager with the ability to train, motivate and work with others with varying backgrounds
* An excellent written and oral communicator
* A collaborative builder of partnerships and consensus
* An innovative and forward-thinking leader
* A tech-proficient professional with working knowledge of modern software and social media platforms. Bonus: proficiency in Quickbooks, Wordpress, Meta Business Suite, Canva (or similar), and association membership software.
The Kingsland / Lake LBJ Chamber represents 250 members in the unincorporated area of Kingsland in Llano and Burnet Counties. which has about 6500 residents and spans the Colorado and Llano rivers on Lake LBJ. There is an engaged board of 12 local business leaders, and a committee of ambassadors. One full-time office manager is on staff, and contractors support marketing/tourism and social media management.
