Summary Description
Under the direction of the Plant Manager, the Maintenance Manager is responsible for keeping all manufacturing
and facility related equipment in safe working condition and avoiding unscheduled downtime. In this role, the
Manager will coordinate the preventive / corrective maintenance, parts inventory, equipment repairs history while
scheduling and tracking day to day functions of its team. This position is a working managerial position which
manages the maintenance staff, department budget, capital expenditure and major repairs.
Assists the Leadership team to develop capital project, assets replacement, research, design, develop, build, and
test mechanical devices, including tools, engines, and machines.
In this role, incumbent will be a direct support of the implementation and coordination of company's safety programs,
lead the Plant Safety Committee and develop new programs, update existing procedures, maintain documentation,
and train personnel in all safety procedures. Proven knowledge of OSHA regulations applicable to general industry,
combined with knowledge in the application of engineering principles and technology is a must to prevent or correct
unsafe working conditions. Incumbent will liaise with management and external safety agencies, such as OSHA,
DERM, Fire Departments, and others to ensure compliance with all safety regulations.

Education and / or Experience : BS in mechanical or electrical engineering and a minimum of (8) eight years of
experience in equipment maintenance management and reliability in a large industrial setting is required for this role.
