What are the responsibilities and job description for the Receiving Specialist- Winchester position at Kingspan Insulation LLC?
Essential duties
Essential duties are interpreted as being descriptive and not restrictive in nature. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Performs work in a safe manner; promotes and fosters a safe work environment.
2. Responsible communicating through the appropriate channels for railcar movements to and from the facility
3. Pumping and offloading of all resin and gasses
4. Receiving in all packing components
5. Receiving inbound house wrap and other materials
6. Handling logistics for samples sent out for customers.
7. Performs other duties as needed/requested by Management
8. Data entry and analysis on multiple platforms including Excel, SAP, and other applications
Education and/or Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent is required, plus at least three (3) years’ experience in transportation.
Must have:
- Computer Applications Skills: Strong working knowledge of business computer applications (Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word). SAP or similar software experience preferred.
- Organizational Skills: Time management, ability to multitask, attention to detail and organization skills are necessary.
- Interpersonal Skills: Follow directions and get along well with others
Must be able to:

Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures by using basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply and divide).
Reasoning Skills: Ability to deal with people in a manner which shows sensitivity, tact, and professionalism. Possess strong customer service skills and the ability to resolve problems in a diplomatic manner
Certification: Must have forklift operator license at time of hire/transfer, or be able to obtain certification within 90 days of hire/transfer into job.
