What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shape Mold and Packaging Lead- Rockford East position at Kingspan Insulation LLC?
Essential Duties
Essential duties are interpreted as being descriptive and not restrictive in nature. Other duties may be assigned.
- Performs all work in a safe manner; promotes and fosters a safe work environment.
- Review production reports for errors.
- Assist operators with computer problems and feedback issues to IT support.
- Walk the line daily, complete / verify CILS.
- Work with maintenance to resolve mechanical issues on the line.
- Ensure line is running correct output (process condition) and highlight discrepancies in process conditions.
- Ensure start-up checklist and safety checklist for area is completed and signed off prior to starting the machinery.
- Follow troubleshooting guides when issues occur on the line.
- Direct employees towards other areas/tasks when line goes down.
- Ensure Quality Specification is filled and followed.
- Involved in all changeovers on the line.
- Conducts first piece inspection and quality specs are met.
- Verification and review of confirmations and goods issues in SAP during the shift.
- Complete data collection sheets and submit information through the correct process.
- Assist with job/hands on training of Operators or Assistant Operators.
- Ensure that area is clean, tidy and shadow board is filled correctly.
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:
Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent plus three (2) year of experience working in a manufacturing, warehouse, or similar job/environment, or any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the required skills, knowledge and ability.
Must be able to:

Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Excellent communication both orally and written in English.

Reasoning Skills: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
