We are currently seeking a Territory Sales Representative who will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding market presence across Texas. This individual will focus on developing new business opportunities, deepening customer relationships, and supporting existing sales channels.
This is a high-impact, individual contributor role ideal for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and understands the commercial construction or building materials industry. This role will require building awareness of Kingspan’s product portfolio, identifying customer needs, and helping secure project wins across the region while increasing Kingspan’s visibility and influence in the commercial industrial skylight, smoke vent and rooftop safety markets.
Responsibilities
Brand & Market Development
- Act as the face of Kingspan Light Air across Texas, especially in emerging or underdeveloped areas.
- Build awareness of Kingspan’s skylight, smoke vent, and roof safety solutions with contractors, architects, consultants, distributors, and building owners.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with regional decision-makers, influencers, and trade partners.
- Represent Kingspan at customer meetings, job site visits, and industry events.
Opportunity Creation & Channel Collaboration
- Identify and cultivate new opportunities and accounts, focusing on expanding the total addressable market in Texas.
- Work in partnership with independent reps to support shared growth goals.
- Maintain open, transparent communication with reps to support a collaborative, win-win approach.
Sales Support & CRM Ownership
- Own opportunity and pipeline tracking within Salesforce CRM, including project notes, customer interactions, and handoffs.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support quoting, pricing strategy, and project follow-up.
- Ensure smooth transitions between discovery, handoff (when appropriate), and close.
Regional Strategy & Feedback Loop
- Provide market insights to sales leadership and marketing to help shape campaigns, promotions, and product messaging.
- Share feedback from the field to support continuous improvement in customer experience and internal alignment.
- Represent Kingspan at regional trade shows, customer events, and industry functions to support brand growth.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years of sales or business development experience in commercial construction, roofing, or building materials.
- Based in the DFW area, with the ability to travel extensively (up to 75%), especially within Texas and occasionally into the Southeast.
- Proven ability to build relationships, develop new business, and work collaboratively in a channel sales environment.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
- Comfortable selling to or influencing contractors, architects, distributors, and building owners.
- Experience working with independent sales agencies is a plus.
- Proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce preferred) and a structured, process-driven approach to managing opportunities.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently while aligning with broader sales and channel strategies.
