To help us continue to grow, we are currently seeking a Manufacturing Quality Engineer to join our team. The Quality Engineer will have oversight responsibility for quality initiatives at the Lake Forest, IL manufacturing site and will assist with quality objectives at the Wausau, WI site.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee and assist with the preparation of technical documents/drawings while ensuring internal and external quality control standards are met.
- Assist Compliance with the development of a Quality Management and Compliance Management System that meets ISO 9001 and ISO 37301 standards.
- Work directly with cross functional teams to establish standard operating procedures that reflect on a built-in-quality mentality.
- Participate with regulatory audits and respond to non-conformance items in a timely manner.
- Work with production area managers and leaders to drive quality improvements.
- Assist Compliance with management of Document Control and the critical document change management process.
- Work in conjunction with cross-functional teams to drive improvement, while meeting/exceeding company objectives.
- Attend meetings with cross-functional teams and departments to discuss and plan for market needs, and/or any problems that need to be resolved.
- Perform internal quality and compliance audits as needed and/or directed by the Head of Compliance.
- Support product management and manufacturing operations for technical issues relating to Quality and Compliance.
- Assist with troubleshooting problems in the field and factory, develop solutions, create easier methods, and strive for improvement.
- Focus on continuous improvement to lead the journey towards world-class quality manufacturing.
- Develop and/or maintain strong relationships with Divisional Compliance Team and External Regulatory Bodies.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 7-years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a Quality, Operations and/or Engineering role.
- Experience with the creation of standard operating procedures that comply with ISO 9001 and ISO 37301 standards.
- Ability to apply a “value-add” methodology to all aspects of compliance and quality.
- Positive and enthusiastic; a change-agent.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings.
- Experience taking, interpreting and recording measurements pertaining to Quality Control and Quality Assurance.
- Knowledge of Lean Engineering and Quality concepts.
- Ability to understand and interpret regulatory compliance requirements.
- Ability to pay close attention to detail, prioritize work, and coordinate various activities.
- Ability to travel between sites as needed to support Quality goals.
- Bilingual (Spanish) a plus but not required.
