To help us continue to grow our offerings, we are currently seeking an Aluminum Metal Fabricator Level III to join our team. The Aluminum Metal Fabricator III will work from design specifications, patterns, and drawings to make Aluminum skylight parts. The employee will safely and accurately set up and operate various tools and machines to build, assemble and package components in an ISO certified environment. The right candidate will have technical experience using AutoCAD, Inventor and SolidWorks, CNC machine experience, and will be a team player who can act as a guide for other operators as needed.
Schedule : M-F, 6am to 2 : 30pm

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Safely and securely move required materials through the various stages of the product life cycle as outlined in the process workflow. This is completed under direction of the department supervisor.
Properly setup the equipment / machinery and verify that :
All safety devices and measures are active and in place.
The equipment / machine is operating properly.
All gages, stops, etc. are working properly to ensure that the parts will be processed in accordance with the QC and design requirements.
Position aluminum metal components against dimensional stops, secure with clamping systems, and perform the operation designated by the work center.
Perform the required QC check on each component to ensure that it complies with the design and drawing specifications by conducting visual and dimensional examinations.
Ensure that all counts of finished products are correct and marked or tagged with the proper identifying marks, as required.
Report any defective parts to the area Supervisor.
Properly stack and secure all fabricated metal parts with the and deliver to the next workstation, as defined by the process workflow.
Maintain and clean and safe work area.
QUALIFICATIONS :
- 2 years' work experience in a related trade, as well as a basic knowledge of the different types of fabrication equipment.
Knowledge and experience in safely operating punching, notching, drilling and other forming machinery.
Ability to use and understand basic measuring instruments.
Ability to count accurately and record production data.
Ability to operate an electric or propane-powered sit-down forklift safely and effectively is a plus, though not required
Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job, including performing repetitive tasks, visual inspections, physical inspections, can sit or stand for shift length, can lift up to 50 lbs.
