Assisting chairside, taking impressions/xrays, assisting dentists with lab tasks, and front desk tasks as needed (answering questions, scheduling, making and receiving phones calls from/to patients).

Responsibilities
- Accurately update and maintain client’s dental records
- Assist the dentist with complex dental procedures
- Take and process X-rays of patients
- Take Impressions
- Schedule patient appointments
- Advise patients on recommended oral hygiene
- Assess stock of dental supplies for ordering
- Educate patients on procedures
- Undertake lab tasks as instructed
- Keep sterilization clean and well-stocked
- Check in and check out patients
- Make and receive phone calls
Skills
- Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
- Coronal Polishing (not required)
- Understanding of health & safety regulations
- Good computer skills
- *Excellent* communication and people skills
- Attention to detail
- Well-organized and reliable
- Good phone and office etiquette
Qualifications
- Registered Dental Assistant License (Required)
- X-Ray Certification (Required)
- CPR Certification (Required)
- High school or equivalent (Required)
- Dental Assisting: 1 year (Preferred)
- Nitrous Oxide Certification (Preferred)
Schedule
- Monday thru Friday (Enjoy a half day on Fridays!)
- NO Evenings or Weekends
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
