Job description:

Looking for talents interested in supporting our mission to to provide excellent treatment and patient care for individuals with End-Stage Renal Disease. Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) provides care to patients with end-stage renal disease, supporting clinical staff throughout the dialysis treatment process to deliver prescribed treatments. We are seeking motivated, compassionate individuals to provide excellent patient care.

The position is:

Full-time, only three days a week, Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Very competitive wages and reimbursement.

Responsibilities:

- Participate in infection control and patient education activities per clinic policies and procedures.
- Guide new patients and explain to them compliance
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and machine readings during treatment

- Calculate patient's dry weight
- All duties are performed under the RN supervision
- Set up and break down dialysis blood tubing for treatment
- Insert and remove patient fistula needles
- Monitor patients during dialysis, document changes and inform charge nurse of any concerns
-- Maintain professional working relationship, observing patient privacy and rights
- Maintain and track inventory
- Perform laboratory work

Qualifications:
- Good communication skills
- Desire to collaborate with care teams

Education/Training:
- High school diploma or GED is required​
- Dialysis experience not required but a plus. We will train

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
