We are seeking a Senior Restaurant Manager to lead our food and beverage operation at the Embassy Suites Myrtle Beach and Black Drum Brewing. This is a full-time, year-round position for a seasoned professional passionate about providing exceptional guest service while driving financial success.
Position Summary
As a Senior Restaurant Manager, you will oversee and organize restaurant activities and services to ensure an outstanding guest experience and financial profitability. Your responsibilities will include:
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage outlet operations, including guest service standards, product quality, cost control, profitability, marketing initiatives, and compliance with policies and procedures.
- Supervise, coach, and develop team members, conducting evaluations, providing recognition, and fostering professional growth.
- Monitor guest satisfaction trends and implement improvements to elevate the overall guest experience.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness standards.
- Develop and execute marketing and up-selling strategies to maximize revenue.
- Maintain team knowledge of menu offerings, services, events, pricing, and local area attractions.
- Recruit, interview, and train team members, ensuring adherence to Hilton Brand Standards and local, state, and federal regulations.
- Oversee and promote sales of private dining spaces, accommodating 13–30 attendees.
- Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to handle guest and team member concerns with patience and diplomacy.
- Strong interdepartmental communication skills.
Qualifications
- At least 4 years of restaurant management experience in a high-volume environment.
- Strong computer skills and experience with POS systems are required.
- Proven experience in opening and managing restaurant operations preferred.
- Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to handle guest concerns with patience and diplomacy.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; a 4-year college degree is preferred.
- Ability to lift, push, or pull 10–75 lbs with or without reasonable accommodations.
- ServSafe and TIPS certifications preferred or ability to obtain.
