Job Summary:
Kingswood Oxford School is seeking a dynamic and experienced Varsity Girls Lacrosse Head Coach to
lead and inspire our student-athletes. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall
organization, coaching, and development of the Girls Lacrosse program, aligning with the mission
statement and core values of Kingswood Oxford School. This individual will play a key role in fostering
academic success, character development, and community involvement among our student-athletes.
Responsibilities:
Direct Coaching Responsibilities:
Program organization, practice planning, and game preparation/management.
Overall student-athlete development, adhering to the school's mission statement and core
values.
Supporting KO Commitment to Student-Athletes:
- Prioritize student academic success, character development, social-emotional learning,
Recruitment and Retention:
Work with the Admissions Department and Director of Athletics to recruit and retain
highly skilled, mission-appropriate student-athletes.
NCAA Recruitment Process:
- Collaborate with the College Advising Office to provide guidance to student-athletes
Program Cohesion:
- Foster program cohesion for grades 6-12 across Varsity, JV, and Middle School teams.
- Create a competitive, fun, and positive environment for all student-athletes.
- Continuous communication with the athletic department.
Oversee individual and team stats.
Provide game wrap-ups to media outlets and the KO website.
Utilize game filming with Hudl.
Attend league and conference meetings for Founders League and NEPSAC.
Provide end-of-season collection of information, uniforms, award winners, and season
review.
Preferred Experience:
- Proven experience in coaching soccer at the high school level or equivalent.
Ability to inspire and motivate student-athletes.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
