Kingswood Oxford seeks a 6-12 Choral Director who is passionate, innovative, and collaborative – an
educator who models a growth mindset and is committed to equity-focused pedagogy. In addition to
having a strong educational background and teaching experience in choral music, successful candidates
will be technologically savvy, have experience with curriculum design, and model best teaching practices.
We are seeking a choral director to lead and shape the future of our choral program by creating an
engaging, inclusive, and vibrant environment that ignites students' passion for singing and increases
participation. The ideal candidate brings a deep passion for choral music, musical theater, and acappella,
with experience in teaching vocal pedagogy, orchestral conducting, and piano accompaniment. The ideal
candidate will teach courses, lead ensembles, be the musical director of our various musicals, and teach
acapella. As a full-time employee, the candidate will teach in the Middle and Upper Schools, advise in the
middle school, and be involved in both the musicals offered. We welcome applicants with expertise in
