Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Room

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Room is responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The RN will work closely with physicians, other healthcare professionals, and support staff to ensure that patients receive the best possible care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and triage patients upon arrival to the emergency room
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
• Monitor and document patient vital signs and progress
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
• Provide education and support to patients and their families
• Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations

Qualifications:

• Current RN license in the state of Texas
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working in an emergency room setting
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
