Customer Service Specialist/Sales Associate

Kingz Kimonos (www.kingz.com) is a growing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu uniforms and apparel business. Our mission is to provide customers with a wide variety of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu supplies at competitive prices, supported by superior customer service. We are looking for a results-driven retail Sales Associate/Customer Support Specialist to be responsible for online AND in-store sales activities. The ideal employee will be able to provide excellent customer service, maintain high customer satisfaction, and exceed company expectations. Knowledge of the jiu-jitsu industry is a plus.

Schedule: 40 hr weeks, open availability Monday to Friday 8:45am-6:00pm

Hourly Wage: $22 per hour

Sales Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
• Assess customers needs and provide assistance and information on product features
• "Go the extra mile" to drive sales
• Maintain in-stock and presentable condition assigned areas
• Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options
• Cross-sell products
• Collaborate with co-workers to ensure customer needs are met
• Build productive and trusting relationships with customers

Customer Service Responsibilities

• Effectively manage large amounts of incoming calls
• Identify and assess customers' needs, in order to achieve satisfaction
• Handle complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives in a timely manner, and follow-up to ensure resolution
• Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents
• Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
• Go the extra mile to engage with customers

Requirements

• Proven working experience as a sales associate and/or relevant customer support experience
• Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
• Proficiency in English (proficiency in Portuguese is a plus but not required)
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with CRM systems and processes (e.g. Gorgias, Hubspot, Shopify)
• Customer orientated, and ability to adapt/respond to different types of personalities
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 36 months of Sales & Customer Service experience
