Basic Objective :
The Process Engineering Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing manufacturing processes within KLS. Ensures that production systems run efficiently, cost-effectively, and meets the highest standards of quality and safety.
This position involves leading a team of engineers, collaborating with various departments, and implementing innovative solutions to improve production methods. The Process Engineering Manager will develop and manage the Project Management methodologies and provide expert guidance to project leaders.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities :
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert for KLS production processes and operations.
- Ensuring all processes are implemented to meet KLS’s EHS, Quality and Production requirements.
- Design processes, systems and equipment meeting all applicable codes, regulations, and Engineering best practices.
- Working with other members of the project team, Production, EHS and Quality teams, external vendors, and contractors to deliver capital projects on time and within budget.
- Commissioning new plant and processes.
- Optimizing the operation of existing processes.
- Aiding and troubleshooting support to the site operating team to maintain plant production & quality.
- Providing specialist technical assistance to the site HSE department, including providing responses to questions from the regulatory authorities (California, USA and International)
- Training site staff in new processes & programs
