Kinsa is recruiting for a: Director of Quality – Nutraceutical/Vitamins/Supplements
Location: Onsite in metro Las Vegas, Nevada
Our client is a rapidly growing manufacturer of functional foods and supplements with a new opportunity for a Director of Quality to join their team in Nevada. You will be responsible for directing excellence in quality during the production cycle by providing technical leadership to the Quality Assurance, Quality Control and Food Safety teams. The ideal candidate should be comfortable in a fast-paced setting, bringing a proactive, problem-solving mindset with a collaborative and detail-oriented approach to quality. The Director of Quality will have 4 direct reports and will report to the COO.
*** 8 years of Quality management experience in the Nutraceutical/Vitamin/Supplement industry, Bachelor’s degree required***
Compensation/Benefits:

Key Responsibilities in this role:
- You will establish quality policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of robust food safety and quality management systems
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality processes, product reliability, and customer satisfaction
- Lead audits and inspections by regulatory bodies, ensuring preparation and compliance
- Define, track, and report on KPIs to assess the effectiveness of quality systems
Education & Experience Needed:
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Quality Management, Microbiology, or Engineering
- In-depth knowledge of quality metrics, regulatory compliance, and food safety best practices and Nutraceuticals
- Strong knowledge of federal regulations for dietary supplements, including familiarity with cGMP, NSF, and FDA
