Kinsa is recruiting for a: Maintenance Manager
Location: Green Bay, WI Area (On-site)
Our client is the nation's largest co-manufacturer of fully cooked sausage and hot dogs. They produce 15% of the fully cooked sausage in the United States, serving the world’s most trusted brands and retailers by operating a co-extrusion, cook-in-package process that produces delicious, clean label, food-safe products that help grow and protect these brand partners.
The Maintenance Manager is responsible for the overall reliability of the production-related equipment and maintaining the entire facility and equipment to meet all food safety and partner safety standards. Oversees the projects and work of maintenance personnel in compliance with all safety, food safety, quality, SQF, GMP and USDA requirements.
Candidates MUST HAVE 3 years of Maintenance Management experience!
(FOOD Manufacturing REQUIRED – Meat HIGHLY preferred!)
1st Shift M-F (some weekend work may be needed on occasion)
Compensation/Benefits:
- $115K - $130K Bonus

Key Responsibilities and Goals:
- Lead maintenance dept. operations and performance to drive efficiency and reduce cost.
- Support and drive performance of direct reports; four maintenance supervisors and a maintenance planner.
- Actively support and promote maintenance partner development plans through training and further education opportunities.
- Support the Continuous Improvement initiatives of the company.
- Control and manage maintenance spend in parts and labor.
- Monitor utility systems including boilers, ammonia, air compressors, and pump systems.
- Oversee the maintenance of stock room parts inventory, components, tools, supplies and other maintenance items.
- Ensure department completion of all safety, food safety, and APSM compliance training.
Competencies Needed for Success:
- 3 years’ previous management experience is required.
- 10 years’ maintenance experience is required. (USDA-regulated food mfg. preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field is preferred, or a combination of experience and technical training
- Knowledge of all maintenance crafts and tools, procedures, basic principles of machine design and operation is required.
- Previous experience developing and managing PM programs is strongly preferred.
- Certification in OSHA programs and practices preferred.
