Senior Vice President of Operations (Pet Food)
Our client is a 3rd generation family owned business that manufactures high-quality pet food products. The company is known for innovation, quality and a strong, trust-based family culture.
The Senior Vice President of Operations will manage and oversee all areas of the existing treat and canning operation, as well as a future kibble facility. The individual will directly manage and oversee all areas on the campus including Manufacturing Operations, Business Operations, Safety, Quality, Maintenance, Warehouse, Distribution, Office/Administration, and Capital Expenditure. The Senior Vice President of Operations will work collaboratively with cross functional business partners including Sales/Marketing, Commercialization/R&D, HR/People Operations, IT, Finance, Procurement, Engineering, and other Executive Leadership.
Successful candidates Must Have progressive experience in senior leadership roles within the pet food industry.

Qualifications:
- Education and Experience:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management or related field is preferred.
- 10 years of progressive experience in senior leadership roles within the pet food segment.
- Deep understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, supply chain management, and industry regulations within the food and beverage sector.
- Leadership and Interpersonal Skills:
- Proven ability to establish, lead, and develop high-performing manufacturing teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated experience in leading organizational change initiatives and driving cultural transformation.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and regulatory agencies.
- Technical Skills and Knowledge:
- Proven ability to develop and execute strategic plans that align with corporate objectives and drive sustainable growth.
- Expertise in lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and other continuous improvement techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to leverage data analysis to identify opportunities for improvement, optimize processes, and make informed decisions.
- Familiarity with industry-standard manufacturing technologies, automation systems, and ERP software.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from concept development to commercialization.
- Deep understanding of food safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental compliance requirements.

Salary : $250,000 - $300,000
