EVENINGS OPERATIONS MANAGER

The Evening Operations Manager is basically the General Manager at night. This position is responsible for ensuring that members have an enjoyable experience, and to ensure team members are performing to the club’s standards. The Evening Operations Manager will provide “hands on” assistance in any area that requires support.

The Evening Operations Manager is the primary contact at night and has a responsibility to ensure the club is well managed throughout. The Evening Operations Manager is the spokesperson for the club and must have the ability to address any issues involving both members and team members. This position is a problem solver who diffuses confrontations and leads by example. The Evening Operations Manager must conduct himself in a very professional manner no matter the circumstances. The Evening Operations Manager will provide assistance in any department that is struggling for any reason. The Evening Operations Manager will also move team members around to ensure any assistance is addressed when deemed necessary.
The Evening Operations Manager must have a pleasant personality and be easily approachable. This position requires a high level of energy, perseverance, and patience.
Responsibilities include:
1. Enforcing policies throughout the club
2. Provide a pleasant environment for members and team members
3. Monitor team member performance and old everyone accountable for performance
4. Always shows strong leadership
5. Address and resolve issues involving members and team members
6. Handle adversity with professionalism
7. Consistently walk the club to evaluate team member performance
8. Adjust labor based on specific needs by department
9. Confident decision Maker
10. Excellent Communication Skills
11. Remove belligerent members from facility as needed
12. Make sure team member are in uniform with name badge throughout
13. Close and secure the facility at night, which includes thoroughly checking all areas to confirm that candles are extinguished, lights are turned off, and all kitchen equipment is turned off.
14. Routinely monitor the Pool Complex and the Tennis courts throughout the night (In Season).
15. Manage all emergencies, including medical emergencies
This position will require 3 to 5 years’ experience in managing people. Must be able to adapt to a Country Club environment, which is less structured than a corporate environment.
The position will work 20 to 25 hours per week, and will be compensated at $25 per hour.
