Requirements

Responsibilities :

Construct, assemble, and install formwork for concrete structures, including walls, columns, slabs, and foundations.
Measure, cut, and shape wood, plywood, and other materials to build forms according to project specifications and blueprints.
Inspect, maintain, and repair existing formwork, ensuring structural integrity and readiness for use.
Collaborate with concrete crews to ensure timely and efficient project execution.
Utilize a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively for carpentry tasks.
Ensure all work aligns with project plans, specifications, and company quality standards.
Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures (OSHA and company policies) to maintain a secure job site.
Assist with other construction tasks as needed, demonstrating a team-oriented approach.

Requirements :

Proven experience as a Carpenter in the construction industry, preferably with a focus on concrete formwork.

Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and technical instructions.

Knowledge of carpentry materials, tools, and techniques, particularly for commercial concrete projects.

Strong attention to detail and precision in measurements and assembly.

Physical stamina and strength to handle the demands of the role, including lifting heavy materials and working in varying weather conditions.

Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.

Commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols.

Preferred Qualifications :

Experience working on commercial concrete projects is highly desirable.

Familiarity with building forms and stairs.

OSHA 10-hour or 30-hour certification is preferred.
