Kinship Community Food Center is seeking a skilled program developer to coordinate our healing- and community-focused workforce program. Working under the direction of the Workforce Development Manager, this position will assist in the strategic design, curriculum development, and partnership cultivation of our Healing Workforce Program, which empowers individuals to overcome barriers to long-term health and economic stability. The Workforce Development Associate will focus on creating, refining, and enhancing program structure, curriculum, evaluation methods, and strategic partnerships to ensure program effectiveness and trainee success.

Kinship Community Food Center engages volunteers and neighborhood residents to end hunger, isolation, and poverty. The mission pillars of our work are 1) nourishing food security and wellness, 2) fostering kinship and community engagement and 3) creating stability & economic opportunity.
Our fresh food market, urban farm, café, and collaborative meals expand food access while teaching healthful habits and skills in a community of belonging where crisis assistance and mentoring is made available. Position Responsibilities
- Facilitate the team responsible for ongoing design and development of the Healing Workforce Program, including curriculum creation, program structure, and implementation strategies
- Ensure seamless integration of program design and trainee support
- Develop and implement programmatic policies, procedures, program evaluation tools and metrics to measure outcomes and impact
- Forge and maintain strategic partnerships with employers, educational institutions, and community organizations to strengthen career pathways for trainees
- Assist with human development sessions and healing circles with trainees maintaining a supportive learning environment that aligns with program values of mutuality, love, and transformation
- Maintain documentation of program processes, curriculum, and best practices
- Coordinate with program funders to ensure accurate and timely reporting
Desired Qualifications
- Receptiveness to overall servant leader model and mission of Kinship Community Food Center
- Bachelor's degree in human services, program management, adult education, or related field (relevant experience may be considered in lieu of education)
- 2 years of experience in program development, curriculum design, and/or workforce training
- Demonstrated success in building strategic partnerships and collaborations, including with funders
- Understanding of workforce development infrastructure, business models, and outcome measurements
- Experience facilitating programs using trauma-informed and strength-based approaches
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and experiential education
- Proficiency with program evaluation methodologies, data analysis, and reporting with aim for continuous programmatic improvement
- Highly motivated, self-directed with a positive attitude and the ability to work a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings and weekends
- Demonstrated organizational, collaborative, interpersonal, and written & verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and database management
- Experience and sensitivity working with individuals from diverse backgrounds
- Openness to work within Christian/Catholic faith-based environment based on social justice principles
- Valid driver's license and proof of insurance to support work activities

A competitive annual salary of $44,000 - $52,000 (commensurate with experience), benefits package, a flexible work environment, an enthusiastic team of dedicated staff and volunteers.
Working Conditions:
Work Location: Open office workspace with active team atmosphere. Occasional work in program settings including commercial kitchen, urban farm, and café.
Physical Requirements: Standing and sitting for prolonged periods. Typing on a computer keyboard. Lifting objects of 25 pounds or less.
Equipment Used: Computer, printer/copier.
