This position manages projects from inception to completion. Deals with a diverse group of external callers as well as internal contacts at all levels of the organization. Independent judgement is required to plan, prioritize and organize diversified workload.
Essential Functions
- Review job contract and related information to ensure it is accurate and complete.
- Work with contractors to prepare project plan, schedule material delivery and manage project documents.
- Work with Detailers, Purchasing, Billing and Operations to meet project specifications and deliverables.
- Manage change orders to maximize profit and keep projects up to date through completion.
- Visit jobsites and attend meetings as required.
- Efficiently handle multiple tasks and projects, while meeting project specific deadlines.
- Learn new software programs as company grows and industry advances.
Job Qualifications
- Required Education: High School Diploma (college degree preferred)
- Preferred Experience: Minimum 5 years in commercial door and hardware industry
- AHC certification preferred. AHC level proficiency required.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Hollow Metal and Division 8 hardware knowledge
- Knowledge of Building Codes is helpful
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
