Job Summary
Responsibilities include machining wood doors and frames and associated components for commercial and residential markets.
Essential Functions
- Operate woodworking machinery and tools to cut, shape, and assemble door components according to specifications.
- Assemble door and frame units daily per the established production schedule.
- Work collaboratively with a small team to ensure the timely production of high-quality wood door and frame units.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate workflow and meet production schedules.
- Build and crate doors and frames for shipment.
- Receive incoming material and stage for production.
- Route doors and frames to appropriate staging area using forklift or pallet jack.
- Load outgoing orders as needed, with ability to identify products and answer questions.
- Keep work area picked-up, clean and safe for all personnel, including shop and warehouse areas.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Safely and skillfully use power tools such as chop saw, skill saw, and nail gun.
- Deliver material in Company vehicles as needed.
Job Qualifications
- Preferred: Experience working in a wood door manufacturing environment
- Required: Proficiency in operating woodworking machinery and tools such as Norfield Magnum door assembler, Strike Machine, Hinge Machine and various routers and saws.
- Required: Prior experience safely and skillfully using small hand tools and power equipment.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED
- Successfully pass preplacement drug screen.
- Valid driver license and clean driving record required to operate Company vehicles.

- Constantly works in warehouse environment with limited temperature control

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
- This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
