Kinship of the Park Rapids Area
Kinship empowers youth to make positive life choices through relationships with caring mentors.
*Primary responsibilities: Implement the mission of Kinship through planning and directing the operations of the organization; recruit volunteers for mentor matches and reading buddies program; providing financial oversight, fund development, public relations and effective leadership. THis position reports to the Board of Directors.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
- Minimum of five years experience in nonprofit leadership
- Strong background in program development, donor relations, grant writing and leadership.
Required:
- Must have excellent public speaking, writing and interpersonal communication skills to work with a wide variety of professionals, community leaders, volunteers and families.
- Must be computer literate and experienced with data base applications, Microsoft Word, Publisher and Excel and social media.
- A flexible schedule is required to accommodate evening or weekend appointments and/or activities.
Remote hybrid position. Up to 40 hours per week. Holiday pay, PTO and retirement benefits. Salary commensurate with experience.
